Project Goal
As the largest healthcare educator in the U.S., Covista serves nearly 100,000 students across five institutions. This series of doc-style vignettes features students from Covista’s Caribbean institutions: American University of the Caribbean, Ross University School of Medicine, and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. While focusing on their educational experience, each story emphasizes how life experiences form the “why” that drives students.
What We Did
Working closely with the client, we spent months speaking with dozens of students to develop a short list of candidates. Our director and story producer crafted selected stories into a short doc-style format that balanced the students’ personal journeys and their educational experience. Our tight-knit doc team executed a nearly month-long international production (Michigan, Sint Maarten, St. Kitts, Miami, and Barbados), requiring a coordinated approach and a crew capable of navigating detail-heavy days while staying focused on work as a whole.
