The Noticers began its development as the United Nations Global Compact prepared for the 2025 United Nations General Assembly. At the assembly, the UN’s Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) team had been granted the opportunity to introduce the initiative’s mission to a global audience of higher-ed and policy leaders. PRME operates on the belief that business leaders and educators hold the ability to shape the students who change the world; for PRME, illustrating this message and its resonance through visual storytelling would be crucial to receiving buy-in from signatory institutions and leaders.
What We Did
Dogwalker worked with Director, Lori Gottschling, and Writer, Kathryn Davis, to develop “The Noticers,” a short narrative script that follows a life lived—and then shaped—by PRME’s core principles. To bring the team’s vision to life, we assembled a crew of 30 Michigan-based filmmakers and over 75 actors and extras. This team stepped up for 4 ambitious days of production, followed by just one month of post-production to deliver the final cut.
